At High Peaks Canna, we take pride in the passionate and knowledgeable team members who make our shop a welcoming and exciting place for all. This month, we’re thrilled to introduce Erika, one of our incredible budtenders who brings a unique and inspiring story to our community.
Erika’s Cannabis Journey
As a mother of three beautiful children, Erika’s journey with cannabis began after welcoming her youngest at age 27. For Erika, cannabis provided the ultimate relief from stress and migraines, transforming her day-to-day life. Her personal experience with the plant fuels her passion for helping others discover its benefits.
Life at High Peaks Canna
Erika’s enthusiasm for her work is infectious. “I love absolutely everything about working at High Peaks!” she says. “These stoners are my Tribe, and I love them!” For Erika, being part of Saratoga’s evolving cannabis market is a dream come true. She finds excitement in the ever-changing world of new products and takes pride in introducing locals and travelers alike to High Peaks’ carefully curated selection. Her favorite question to customers? “Have you smelled the Superboof!?” This fruity, “wake and bake” sativa from Golden Gardens has earned Erika’s seal of approval as the perfect way to start the day.
A Multi-Talented Background
Before joining the High Peaks family, Erika honed her skills as a butcher at Franklyn Square Market, where she wielded knives with precision and artistry. Now, she’s swapped her cleaver for cannabis, diving into the flower with equal passion. Beyond her career, Erika is also a talented singer in the original bluegrass band Brain Medicine, showcasing her creative side through music.
Why We’re Lucky to Have Erika
Erika’s energy, expertise, and dedication make her an integral part of the High Peaks team. Her genuine love for cannabis and community shines through in everything she does, from recommending the perfect strain to making every customer feel at home.
Next time you visit High Peaks Canna, be sure to say hi to Erika and ask her about her favorite products. Who knows? You might just find your new go-to strain!
